Module 6: Stretching Routines
IN THIS LESSON
HAMSTRING STRETCHING ROUTINE - Great for spirals, jumps, and more! Hamstrings are often neglected in workouts as quadriceps tend to dominate in this sport with all of the lower body work that we do.
Mobility
Butt Kicks – 10 each side
Quadriceps Hold – 5 each side
Standing Hamstring Stretch – 5 each side
Static Stretches - Hold each static stretch for 15-30 seconds, then repeat once! Hamstrings are very sensitive, so progress slowly and gradually with these!
Forward Fold
Single Leg Forward Fold - Left & Right
Lying Bent Knee Hamstring Stretch- Left & Right
Lying Straight Knee Hamstring Stretch - Left & Right
Standing Hamstring Stretch Toe Pointed- Left & Right
